Welcome to GarageWale ("we", "our" or "us"). GarageWale is a technology platform that connects vehicle owners, garages, mechanics, and service providers (collectively, "Users") to facilitate automotive services and related activities. By accessing or using the GarageWale mobile application, website, or any related services (together, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of Service

GarageWale operates solely as an aggregator and technology facilitator. We do not provide repair, maintenance, or related services directly. Independent garages and service providers ("Garages") deliver the services listed on the Platform. GarageWale is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, pricing, or outcome of services rendered by Garages.

2. Payments

At present, GarageWale does not handle payments between customers and garages. All payments must be settled directly between the customer and the garage. GarageWale assumes no liability for payment disputes, refunds, or chargebacks.

3. User Accounts

1. You must create an account to access certain features of the Platform.
2. GarageWale may suspend, deactivate, or delete any account if there is detection of fraudulent activity, breach of these Terms, or non-compliance with applicable laws.

4. Data Usage

By using the Platform, you consent to GarageWale's collection and use of your business and operational data for lawful business purposes, including but not limited to:

1. Collection and analysis of job cards, bookings, and customer data to improve our services.
2. Use of accounting data to provide loan options or other financial solutions tailored to your business.
3. For second‑hand car resellers, use of car listings, photos, and information to create promotional posts on social media (e.g., Instagram) for marketing purposes.

All such uses are subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

5. Responsibilities of Garages

Garages are solely responsible for the services they provide. Any disputes, claims, or damages arising from the services must be resolved directly between the garage and the customer. Garages must hold any licenses or permits required by law and comply with applicable standards.

6. Account Suspension & Fraud

GarageWale may deactivate or suspend accounts where fraudulent activity, abuse, or non‑compliance with these Terms is suspected. Such action may be taken without prior notice where necessary to prevent loss or legal liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarageWale will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or services provided by Garages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Platform will not exceed the amount, if any, you have paid to GarageWale for use of the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software used on the Platform are the property of GarageWale or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

GarageWale reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or legal non‑compliance. Termination does not limit any other rights or remedies available to GarageWale under law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, India.
